When seventeen-year-old Ellie starts seeing reapers--monstrous creatures who devour humans and send their souls to Hell--she finds herself on the front lines of a supernatural war between Seraphim and the Fallen and faced with the possible destruction of her soul.

A mysterious boy named Will reveals she is the reincarnation of an ancient warrior, the only one capable of fighting the reapers, and he is an immortal sworn to protect her in battle. Now that Ellie's powers have been awakened, a powerful reaper called Bastian has come forward to challenge her. He has employed a fierce assassin to eliminate her--an assassin who has already killed her once.

While balancing her dwindling social life and reaper-hunting extracurriculars, she and Will discover Bastian is searching for a dormant creature believed to be a true soul reaper. Bastian plans to use this weapon to destroy Ellie's soul forever, ending her rebirth cycle. Now, she must face an army of Bastian's most frightening reapers, prevent the soul reaper from consuming her soul, and uncover the secrets of her past lives--including truths that may be too frightening to remember.

Wow your story sounds really interesting...I was afraid at first, because it sounded slightly similar to the own novel I am writing. It's about angels as well but not in the context that you are writing, which is good for the both of us :) I heard in your blog that you got an interveiw, congratulations! How was it like? Also, if you could tell me any tips or information about how you went about finding a publishing company or how you wrote your book, I would really appreciate it! I am in the process of writing and it's just taking a lot of time and besides that, I really have no clue about how to find a publishing company and if they would even publish my stories. Anyways, sorry for babbling and I wish you the best of luck in your career!

Hi!! Thank you so much!! I wouldn't worry about that. Every book has another book that has a lot of similarities. Heck everything is compared to Twilight these days. My interview was really hard, actually...The interviewee asked some really tough questions and I was worried about sounding like an idiot LOL. Writing a book does take forever, but the only way I can finish one is to set a strict goal every day, like writing about 5-6 pages a day or 2,000 words. I didn't know anything about publishing either and I Googled like a fiend to learn everything I could. I joined a writers forum too, where I met a ton of published and unpublished authors who all helped me out and gave me great tips. You definitely want to revise revise revise!! Then find an agent. You can find tons of information about which agent will be right for you (I found mine through agentquery.com) and how to write a query letter, which is a one page letter you send to agents talking about your book and enticing them to want to read it. Thank you so much for the well wishes and right back at you! Good luck finishing your book and getting published! It's a long, hard process, but it happens!

That's a relief, because I wouldn't want everybody that I was copying or just taking other peoples ideas, especially since in my mind, I've been the first to think up a plot line like the one in my two stories. That's probably ludacris though because it's almost impossible to come up with an idea that hasn't even been thought about before.

Hahah, I'd probably babble for like an hour, giving away all the plot twists and secrets xD

5-6 pages a day? Gosh, that sounds like a lot but I'm sure it's just tough to start, once you get in the habit, you can't stop :D I've had that happen sometimes but then the drive died and I haven't picked up my novels since *blows dust off them*

Hey, do you mind sending me the link to the writer's forum you joined? Thanks for agent query link, that'll be helpful. Yeah, there is so much to know and I'm completely cluess to how the process works and how I can get my story published, especially when there is so much competition.

If your book comes out and I see it in Borders, I'll be sure to buy it :)

Hey, just stopped by cuz I haveta tell you somethin'!
I hope you love your commision by Sakimichan. I'm her friend and I sit next to her in our 3D Animation core classes and I must say I saw her working on it constantly, relentlessly for hours on end just plugged in and tuned out. We all thought it wasa wicked in class and now I hope you really enjoy the masterpiece she made for you Congrats!!! :D

Hi!! YES!! Haha I am OBSESSED with it!! She did suuuch an amazing job I can't even handle it LOL When it gets closer to my book's publishing date I am DEFINITELY going to see if she will do some more drawings for me. I already have other author friends pestering me for her contact info! I am sooooooo in love with the work she has done for me!! You have to give her a HUGE HUGE hug for me pleease!!! :D

Awe you guys are so sweet!! I STILL can't stop staring. The first thing I did when I woke up this morning was turn on my laptop and stare at it some more haha :D Everything about it is just so beautiful, and the textures chosen are perfect. I love looking at the high res image and looking at all the tiny details. So wonderful!! It must be really cool to watch her work during class :)

she laughs in shy appreciation and says you are so kind and jokingly says I'm her personal secretary XD And yes it is. we all hover over her shoulder and walk away saying damn you Yue in a joke lol XD Our teacher says that if she were in his class when he was in school she would have been the reason why he would drop out XD LMAO
she's really modest and shy about it and says thanks allot for the kind and sweet words (you made her blush!)
